Getting ready for the adventure of a lifetime is one of the most important steps

Preparations

We recommend you pack a few items that will make your trip to Patagonia a bit easier, since you will be traversing the untamed southern Argentinian outdoors. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Windproof, warm and comfortable clothing that´s also rugged. Gloves, good socks and footwear for wild terrain.

Depending on the experience you choose, we will give you a few pointers on what else to bring. But don´t worry if you skip anything. We´ll get you sorted in no time. As for housing and accommodations, we have it all covered for you.

Places

There are three main estancias we will visit together during your Patagonia Experience - which can be one, two or all of them depending on the package you´ve selected. Transportation is covered in all packages as well as tour guides and interpreters.

Located 9 mi from Río Mayo, in the province of Chubut, the estancia is nestled in a valley that allows you to fully enjoy nature. Here you'll find wildlife areas and breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by 10 mi of the Río Mayo riverbank, which is connected to the Guengel and Senguer River basins. It's the ideal starting point for our fishing, gastronomy, folklore, and horseback riding experiences. It's also a top stop for any motorcyclist seeking a unique experience on the legendary Route 40.
Spanning just over 10,000 hectares, it's the largest ranch on our circuit. Located in the heart of the Deseado Plateau in the province of Santa Cruz, Rancho Patagónico serves as a starting point for activities such as hiking, wildlife photography, and paleontological exploration. It's situated 24 mi from Jaramillo Petrified Forest National Park, making it a strategic location to visit and a base for many of our experiences. Furthermore, it harbors some historical gems that only the most intrepid explorers will discover.
Our main archaeological site is a place where time stood still for millennia. Here you'll have the opportunity to explore sites inhabited by communities dating back 13,000 years, where researchers from CONICET and numerous international scientific organizations come to study the remains of human settlements and cultures that challenge conventional history. This is where the magic happens, at just 19 mi from our Rancho Patagónico.
